Allison received her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Samford University and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of Alabama. She has experience serving both pediatric and adult populations across multiple settings, including preschools, hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, private practices, and state government agencies. Her love of learning paved the way to her becoming the compassionate speech-language pathologist she is today, empowering individuals to communicate and advocate for themselves.

Allison prioritizes client-centered care, tailoring her approach by encouraging her clients to take the lead and integrating their personal interests, passions, and goals into their treatment plans. She recognizes that progress in therapy thrives when clients are engaged, motivated, and enjoy the process, thus fostering a dynamic where growth flourishes.

Speech therapy services in general can be broad in nature; Allison has completed several certifications and is always pursuing additional training to ensure she can provide the care her clients need, earning the Award for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She is a Sensory Trained SLP and has over 3 years of experience obtaining Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices for those with various disorders, including ALS, Huntington’s disease, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), dysarthria, aphasia, and more.
